KATYA is a short film based on a feature material (see “Future Project”) starring Russia’s celebrated actress Chulpan Khamatova (GOODBYE, LENIN!). Shot exquisitely by Bradford Young, ASC, this dramatic thriller is an elegiac meditation of love, loyalty and sacrifice made by two generations of Russians tragically torn apart by the collapse of the Soviet Union. Written and directed by Mako Kamitsuna.
